I made this for the Sunlight Foundation. It’s not the sexiest graphic or topic, but it was an interesting dataset/challenge and a chance to play around with Protovis. Apparently, Jeb Hensarling made 100 campaign contributions of varying amounts to fellow Republicans in what would appear to be an effort to curry favour for what has become a successful power grab for the role of Conference Chairman.
